What We Need
We are seeking an Interactive Creative Director based in our Minneapolis headquarters, leading the Interactive creative charge, setting overall design and copy direction, with the goal of creative excellence and financial success for Interactive solutions. The Interactive Creative Director provides approval on creative stages from initial concept to finished artwork and is responsible for the final output of the Interactive creative product.
What You'll Do
The Interactive Creative Director acts as a primary relationship holder with key interactive clients and leads a staff by:
- Establishing and maintaining high creative standards
- Ensuring fresh thinking, strong relationships and award-winning work
- Acting as lead designer on projects and client brands in a design-based role
- Managing multiple accounts and teams by determining their creative needs and collaborating in developing ideas
- Delivering effective and well-planned presentations at all client meetings
- Identifying, preparing and presenting new business opportunities
- Participating as part of the Door C Leadership Team
- Promoting awareness of Carlson Marketing through active participation in industry associations
What You'll Need
- Minimum 8 years experience (most within a creative-driven organization)
- Bachelors degree in Design, Art School or Advertising School Graduate (e.g. BFA in Design) with advertising or design agency experience
- Proven ability to relate to, communicate with and motivate employees to sustained high performance and quality levels
- Must be active, hands-on designer and director
- Proven leadership capability and leading large client teams
- Recognition in the field and award-winning
- In-depth experience with Flash and other software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Quark and HTML
- Fluent in all the latest design software
- Demonstrated appreciation and knowledge of Interactive marketing technologies
- Current and on-trend in the industry
